Part of knowing how to stay safe is to be able to talk about your emotions and how you feel. We worked in groups to act out different emotions that we feel a lot! They look fantastic and really show some of our feelings.

Gabbi meets a star!
Olympic gymnast Leike Wevers
Our very own Gabbi got to meet and see Olympic gymnast Leike Wevers in action on Wednesday night! I don't know who is more excited to meet whom :-)
Leike was the
first Dutch woman to win a European title in gymnastics: at the 2015
European Games, she won the gold medal on the balance beam and was the
bronze medalist with the Dutch Team, in the floor exercise and
in the individual, all round final. In 2016,
she represented Netherlands at the Rio Olympics where the team
finished in 7thplace.
Mrs Reid feels that one day we are going to see Gabbi representing New Zealand where she will do us all proud!

These feet were made for walking...
We took part in Wacky Shoe day on Friday! What a great array of feet and shoes, some of us even got a spot prize on our way to school... it pays to walk :-)
Today we met our Buddy from room 3
We went to Room 3 today and got to say hello to our new buddy. We were very excited to meet them and we all got on pretty well. We are going to have a lot of fun throughout the year :-)
